Mayor of Medford presents first-ever Mayor’s Award to Rogue Disposal & Recycling for outstanding community service
In recognition of our company’s outstanding community service work, Medford Mayor Randy Sparacino presented Rogue Disposal & Recycling with his first-ever “City of Medford Mayor’s Award. The company was lauded for providing support for communities throughout the region and for being good citizens and neighbors in the Rogue Valley area.
Special mention was made of the company’s help with the Greenway Cleanup during the previous summer. Rogue Disposal & Recycling donated disposal and hauling services for ten 30-yard drop boxes that were used by the Medford Police and other organizations to assist in their clean-up efforts along the Greenway. In presenting the award, the mayor said “We would like to thank and acknowledge the Rogue Disposal & Recycling staff for their contributions, customer service, commitment and hard work during such challenging times.”
According to Laura Leebrick, Community and Governmental Affairs Manager for Rogue Waste System, “We were caught by surprise with this recognition from the city, and this award is very humbling. Thank you to all Rogue Disposal & Recycling employees for everything they do to come through with such outstanding service day after day. It is greatly appreciated!”
